Instant Pot Millet Porridge

On the same day

1- Cook millet in Instant Pot

Respecting a ratio of 1 millet: 2 milk. Cook the desired quantity for 17 minutes on high pressure in the Instant Pot.

2- Release pressure manually.

3- Fluff up millet with a fork.

4- Serve right away. You may add cinnamon, vanilla, flax-meal, fresh fruit and your favourite toppings.

Personally, I love adding nut butter, jam, yogurt, pears, cacao nibs and pumpkin seeds. My husband never fails to add a cut-up banana on top as well :).

You can store in an air-tight container for future use.


Future use (2 servings):

1- Mix and Reheat (in a pan)

3 cups cooked millet

1/4 cup plant-based milk

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 

1/4 tsp vanilla powder (or vanilla extract)

2 tbsp flax-meal

2- Add your favourite toppings.
