Creamy Chocolate Milk

In a blender, pulverize*

3 tbsp raw cashews

2 cups plant-based milk

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

7 dates

Pepper**

*I use my Vitamix and let it run for several minutes until it becomes a hot chocolate, but you could just as well stop when the mix is creamy and heat it up in a pan. I honestly do not know if I like this recipe better cold or hot. To serve cold, simply add ice cubes to the mix. Every time I serve it as a frozen treat, my husband tells me how much it reminds him of Disney World’s chocolate milkshakes.

If you have some left, I strongly suggest you try adding it in your coffee on the following morning to transform it into a rich and creamy mocha.

**A secret ingredient I wouldn’t live without. When adding a very small amount, pepper gives a boosts to the richness of the chocolate and makes it even more delicious.
