Sourdough Starter Pancakes

Sourdough Starter Pancakes

1- In a bowl, put about 1 cup sourdough starter and add

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp bruschetta seasoning (or Italian seasoning or “Herbes de provence”)

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp dried oregano

2- Form a pancake in a hot pan.

3- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the uncooked side of the pancake before turning it over.

4- Cook for about 2 minutes on each side.

5- Serve with vegetables of your choice.

I strongly recommend adding:

Cucumber
Avocado
Pepper
Zest of a lemon
Roasted red peppers or hot sauce.

I don’t know about you, but I always feel bad when comes the time to feed by sourdough starter and I have to throw away some of it. This is a delicious zero-waste solution to reuse it instead. Eliminating food waste has never tasted better :)!
