Instant Pot Plant-Based Yogurt

Instant Pot Plant-Based Yogurt

Yields: 5 X 250 ml jars

1- Add 1 tbsp plant-based yogurt (it can be one you have already made yourself or a store-bought one) in each jar.

2- Fill in each container with pure soy milk. (The only 2 ingredients in the milk should be : soybeans, water)*

3- Mix. Do not put lids on jars.

4- Set Instant Pot on Yogurt for 12 hours.

This recipe makes for a very thick yogurt with almost no bitterness. You may enjoy it as is and can also use it to replace sour cream in many recipes.

Before I got my Instant Pot, I used to own a yogurt machine that I practically never used. I was discouraged by the simple thought of having to pre-heat my milk to exactly 110 degrees so that the outcome would not be a total failure. I can’t tell you how great it is that I don’t have to worry about that anymore. Making homemade yogurt has never been this easy.. and this good :)!

*You can make your own soy milk with soybeans. It is better to use organic soybeans so as to avoid pesticides.
